The City of Chattahoochee is dedicated to fair housing principles. Fair housing is a concept that everyone has the right to obtain without discrimination. The City of Chattahoochee officially adopted a Fair Housing Ordinance which prohibits discrimination in housing because of race, color, national origin, religion, age, sex, handicap, and familial status. This ordinance covers most housing related activities such as real estate sale, advertising, bank transactions, mortgages, rentals and any similar activity which may deal with persons seeking housing.
